Meant to post this yesterday, but since I had to be on the road early I didn't get a chance to. Since I fail at sending holiday greetings in a timely manner I would like to take the time to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. Here's to everyone getting where they are going in one piece...and without getting lost. (My mother, grandmother and I got temporarily lost on the way back from Maryland today, and what was supposed to be a three hour drive took more than four hours. On the bright side I got to see the Inner Harbor of Baltimore City for the first time and a brief glimpse at the Washington DC skyline. And about three other large cities that we normally never see. Pfft, accidental tourism, ha.)

Also, it would appear that one of my cats learned a new trick while we were away. He discovered that jumping on the back of my AC unit and raising hell outside my window is a great way to get my attention. Not to mention give me a heart attack as all I saw when I looked up was a pair of eyes and a collar. LOL BLACK CAT AT NIGHT STARING AT YOU THROUGH YOUR WINDOW.

...as long as he doesn't turn out to be some kind of sparkly vampire who makes this a habit I believe I can forgive him for scaring the living daylights out of me.
